Ode to Venice
Venice...to walk on water, to be so close to it, is to have a passage to knowing yourself.
Just as the tides are in constant flux, so too are we. And just as the campanile of St. Marks stands its ground firmly, so too are we true to who we are throughout the course of change.
The water expands in its vastness both in depth and across the horizon. In every direction there is renewal. A washing away and a giving forth. Space and self intertwine here in the most beautiful way.
