"Let's Paint the Beauty of Italy" is a unique online watercolor workshop I teach, that can be joined from anywhere in the world. You will learn my techniques for painting some of my favorite Italian subjects, in a fun, engaging, non intimidating, yet structured environment. Italy has been a favorite subject for many artists, past and present, and so I am thrilled to be offering this. During this unique online watercolor workshop, inspired by the beauty of Italy, you will receive the following:
An easy to follow, fun and inspiring tutorial which includes my favorite techniques for creating mood, expression, and intrigue with watercolors, in the context of Italian subjects. I look forward to sharing some of my favorite tips and tricks for painting expressionistic watercolors.
Access to a private dedicated webpage where I will post step by step illustrated exercises including images, tutorials, and inspiration. This page will be updated with new content once a week, and you will be able to work on the exercises at whatever time is most convenient for you within that week.
Access to a private one on one Facebook page. Here you will be able to post and share your work with me, to get feedback and ask any questions you may have related to the exercises. This page will typically be one on one, with me, but if there are any other artists taking the course simultaneously, they will also be in the group.
Inspiring watercolor techniques for whichever subject you enjoy painting. Many of the tips and techniques that will be taught in this workshop can be applied to a variety of different subjects. If you paint regularly, or plan on continuing to enjoy painting after the workshop, you will find much inspiration that you can apply to your ongoing creative explorations with watercolors.
Whispers of Venice
The workshop will take place over the course of four weeks. The exercises will be posted once a week, giving you plenty of time and flexibility with how you choose to explore them. A materials list will be provided.
The cost for the workshop is $127 (USD). This fee does not include materials. The workshop is best suited to beginner and intermediate level artists.
By the end of the class you will have painted two watercolors inspired by Italy, and will have learned many exciting watercolor techniques that create beautiful results, and are also a lot of fun to work with.
